Val's music corner + Entry? [01 Apr 2005|06:36pm] [ mood | jubilant ] [ music | So Far Away - Mae ] In the last two weeks I've bought... Copeland: In Motion Mae: The Everglow Beck: Guero All I have to say is...amazing. All of them. Mae totally surpassed my expectations. The entire thing is like a freaking storybook, the piano is beautiful, and it BY FAR surpasses Destination: Beautiful. Copeland's vocals are like angelic and I love the lyrics. It also came with an acoustic EP that has one of my old favorites, Coffee. Beck's Que Ondo Guero makes me wanna jam like a freaking mexican (Hell Yes too). I just love how creative and varied he is. Genius. And this month I have the Format's new EP to look forward to as well as Ben Folds' new album. I'm psyched. Gosh I love music. Today was overall....delightful. David sent me an IM today that meant so much to me. You don't even know. it makes so much sense too...random urges to talk to him about certain things and emptiness in certain areas weren't for no reason. it all fell into place and I sincerely think that you were all wrong. But so was I. I've always known David was meant to be a key person in my life. I'm enthralled that its finally coming together. Its perfect timing. just as I was losing hope. I'm going to Sedona this weekend. Hope I get good...no...amazing pictures. Summer 2006: I'm going to Australia. its official. Its unreal. After I graduate, I'm going to be a photographer.
